Main Sail is seeking a Shop Floor Industrial Engineer to assist the PMO with an Adaptive Manufacturing project which will produce small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS). This project will be in support of a manufacturing client in Anniston Alabama.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Project Management Office Program kickoff.
- Develop Governance model, decision cadence, and reporting templates.
- Assist with the development of an Integrated Master Schedule.
- Develop plan/approach to optimize manufacturing processes and realize value.
- Develop Risk Management plan.
- Document issues, actions, decisions.
- Assist with defining project deliverables and plan for acceptance steering management.
- Plan and execute acceptance steering management.
- Coordinate partner, supplier, and stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Provide CAPEX governance and Government approval.
- Define and support Change & Scope Management.
- Develop a Program transition plan and assist with socialization.
- Assist with interim material management workflow.
- Assist with plan to deliver ERP interoperability.
- Ensure there is visibility into material movement including the ability to track via workflow.
- Develop a workforce transformation strategy.
Experience Required:
- 8+ years of product manufacturing experience, Army depot preferred.
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation experience preferred.
- Manufacturing process optimization, modeling & simulation.
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience - SAP preferred.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
